Checking and Adding Gator Dollars:
On Campus
Your OneCard balance is shown in “Gator Dollars.” If you would like to add Gator Dollars to your OneCard using cash, you can do so by visiting one of the Add Value Stations (AVS) listed below. If you would like assistance using the Add Value Station in the Student Services Building, OneCard staff members are happy to help. You can contact the staff at (415) 338-3619 or in person at SSB 103 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Reminder: Gator Dollars and Clipper Funds Are Not the Same
Gator Dollars and Clipper Funds are separate accounts. Gator Dollar deposits will not work for Clipper transits, and Clipper funds will not work for campus purchases. Please be mindful of which account you are depositing currency into. A refund is possible if a mistake is made, but a $20 administrative fee will be applied. Online
You can use eAccounts to check your balance or add Gator Dollars to your OneCard online using a credit card. You will need your SF State ID and password to log in. This eAccounts site will also allow you to check your Gator Dollars and meal plan balances.
You can also download the Transact eAccounts App onto your mobile device to check and add value onto your OneCard.

Gator Dollar Refund Requests
Gator Dollar refund requests may be submitted in person at the OneCard Office or online via email at onecard@sfsu.edu. Eligible Gator Dollar refunds are subject to a $20 administrative fee. Approved refunds will be paid by check through normal University procedures and may take up to four (4) weeks to process.
Refund Restrictions
- Gator Dollar balances prior to the consolidation of Gator Dollars and BayBuck$ into one campus debit account are non-refundable.
- Gator Dollar amounts deposited by campus departments and programs (such as Housing, Guardian Scholars, etc.) are non-refundable.
- Guest cards are non-refundable.
